Understanding Feng Shui Flying Stars: Energy in Motion

Flying stars represent an intricate mathematical aspect of Feng Shui established in the Luo Shu grid or magic square. Its name is derived from the nine numbers, also referred to as stars, within the square. These numbers (stars) dynamically shift or ‘fly’ around the grid, influencing Feng Shui energies at different times.

The Flying Star school stands out as the most complex and all-encompassing branch of Feng Shui. Proficiency in both Form and Compass schools is essential to grasp its complexity. Within the theories of Flying Star school, the profound, sacred, and truly remarkable impacts of Feng Shui unfold. Grounded in numerology, the language of the universe, Flying Star principles should serve as the cornerstone for any in-depth Feng Shui consultation.

Flying Star school surpasses the Form and Compass school by recognizing the dynamic influence of time on a structure. It acknowledges the ever-changing, invisible forces in the universe. Consequently, buildings with initially favourable Feng Shui cannot maintain this over time without regular consultations. This clarifies how businesses might thrive in a specific building, but then fail once they move premises. Or you may have lived such a great life while living in a certain home, compared to the chaos moving into another has caused.

Each number is associated with a trigram, one of the five elements and a set of characteristics unique to that number. Each star is either prosperous, or negative in its manifestations. This energy shifts over each twenty-year period. As we enter the age of nine in 2024 the noble water and mountain star becomes nine. This is the energy that we want to support within the home, and people with the right mindset will attract a home that has a well-placed nine.

QUALITIES OF THE NINE STARS

Flying Star ONE: This star is prosperous and has characteristics of wisdom and intelligence. It will also reflect your finances, but more so finances related to unconventional money such as finding money unexpectedly, it could be considered serendipitous or a stroke of luck. This might include discovering forgotten funds, receiving unexpected income, or stumbling upon money in an unconventional manner such as winning the lottery.

Flying Star TWO: This star is not considered timely and has different opinions from different Feng Shui Masters and Philosophers as to its effects as we come into the age of nine. I have been personally experimenting with this star and have not experienced its negative impact; however, I am still negating the energy with a metal calabash, sounds of metal and a salt water cure. The characteristics of this star is ‘sickness’ and it’s also known for miscarriages and abdominal disease. It is on its way to becoming neutral, and will no longer have detrimental effect according to a philosopher in whom I follow.

Flying Star THREE: This star is negative and can cause you to go backwards in your finances and health. Its characteristics are conflicts, arguments, theft and lawsuits.

Flying Star FOUR: This star is untimely and needs to be neutralised to avoid its negative manifestations. It is not prosperous, therefore does not have a beneficial influence.
